The mission of THE SPARROW’S NEST MATERNITY HOME is to provide a CHRIST centered shelter and to educate homeless, pregnant and parenting YOUNG WOMEN by providing a wide range of SERVICES that empower them to make positive and healthy LIFE decisions for themselves and their BABIES. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN #27-3712845.
Now that we have residents at The Nest we are going to be scheduling monthly workdays. Please contact our volunteer coordinator Alyssa at firstname.lastname@example.org if you or your group is interested in volunteering.
Register for the RUSH 5K
The Sparrow's Nest and Bridgeway Behavioral Health are proud to host the 5th Annual RUSH 5K and 1 mile Kid's Fun Run on Saturday, May 2, 2015. This super-hero themed, super family friendly event takes place in St. Charles, Missouri on the Katy Trail in Frontier Park. Click below for more details and to register.
Have you ever wanted to run or walk a 5K but you weren't sure how to get started? Or maybe you get started and then lose motivation? Well, we have a training group for you! Join Mark Hollander as he conducts 6 one hour training sessions on the Katy Trail from late March through April.
We need nearly 80 volunteers to make the RUSH 5K event successful. We want to partner with you, our volunteers, to make this a hugely successful community event and fundraiser. This is a perfect opportunity for small groups to volunteer together and for non-runners to support their family or friends who are running.

We always assumed that […]
